Are you a seconds saver? By that I mean do you save seconds on the microwave? How valuable are these seconds?
Usually, I hit the 30-second button on the microwave to heat stuff up. I really like to use only about 20 seconds, as a microwave in my previous life had a 20 second reheat button, and I found that was satisfactory for most things. Now, the 30 second timer works most times, so the food is hotter than I like. So, I open the door and take the food out early, but never clear the timer. The next time, I can hit start and then add 30 seconds more if I want to.
Is this being lazy or efficient? Are these like rollover minutes on phone contracts? Will I get rich on this?
